Jakki Storm

About the Artist

Meet Jakki

Jakki is someone you are not likely to soon forget. Passion, tenacity, and a dry optimism have been the life-long unifying characteristics of this absolute renaissance woman.

Since she was a little girl, Jakki always dreamed of being a tattoo artist. However, raised with the belief that art was meant to be a hobby and not a viable job, she spent her early adult years earning two BS degrees in Engineering, followed by a brief yet successful career developing Biotechnology. Despite her best efforts, her mind could not settle into the stem career path and she made the conscious shift back into the arts.

Today Jakki is an international model and tattoo artist based in Los Angeles, CA. Her years of studying anatomy and designing for the body have helped give her a unique insight into what makes a tattoo "look good" — a rare background to see in this industry. Jakki believes tattooing to be one of the most sacred and intimate human practices, and embeds this mantra into every one of her thoughtfully crafted, and detailed pieces.

When she's out of the studio, you'll find her on top of a mountain — hiking up it, skiing down it, or just enjoying the view.

Frequently Asked

A few of the basics — see the full FAQ page for more.

Where are you located?

Supersweet Tattoos & Coffee in Los Angeles, California. However I also do occasional guest appearances around the country — join my newsletter to be the first to know about upcoming travel dates and locations.

How much do you charge?

Pricing varies greatly depending on the project. For tattoos under six hours, I charge hourly with a $150 minimum. For larger projects, I work on a daily fixed-rate basis. You'll receive an estimate at your consultation.

Do you do coverups?

Yes! Please include a photo of your existing tattoo in the booking form.

When do I get to see the design?

The day of your appointment. This makes some clients nervous, but after a thorough consultation, it's rare that any major changes are needed once we meet in person. If they are, I'll take all the time necessary to get your design right before it goes on skin. If you like my portfolio, I'm confident you'll love what I create for you.
